We saw 32 goals in the 26th round of La Liga, a lot of them beautiful, convincing victories from the leading teams, except Sevilla who managed to get out only one point against Alaves.

Real Madrid easily defeated Eibar without the two main stars, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, and with their absence, the main man on the pitch was Karim Benzema who put his name twice on the scoresheet.
Jaime Rodriguez and Marco Asensio scored a goal a piece while the defeat of the home team was decreased by Ruben Pena.
The Yellow Submarine defeated Espanyol with 2-0 at El Madrigal and showed that they are completely recovered after the controversial game with Real Madrid. This was their second straight victory and the most credits go to Roberto Soriano and Cedric Bakambu.

Osasuna is at the last place with only 10 points and if they avoid relegation it will be quite a miracle.
Atletico Bilbao won with a minimal result at San Mames against Malaga, with Raul Garcia’s goal from the penalty kick in the 72nd minute. Currently, they are four points behind Villarreal who is on the 6th place which is leading to Europe.
Although Sevilla had a lead against the Alaves, that wasn’t enough for them. Both teams split one point each. Wissam Ben Yedder brought the lead to the visitors and Alexander Katai equalized in the 75th minute, just 10 minutes after he entered the game.
In the late phase of the match, the home team pressured the visitors and we could say that they happier with the final outcome.
Barcelona, Real and Atletico Madrid won their games, while Sevilla pull out only one point. Barca is on the top of the table with one point more than Real Madrid, who has one one game less. On the bottom Granada and Sporting Gijon are struggling, while Osasuna is on her way to Segunda division.
